Will I be charged duties, taxes and any other fees?Updated 13 days ago
Will I need to pay duties and taxes?
- United States import duties are included. Sales Tax/VAT is applied at checkout according to the shipping address in the United States.
- Other international shipments - This means you may be liable to pay import duties. VAT may apply. For orders outside of USA any charges on a package must be paid by the person receiving the package. CROSTY has no control over these charges and we can’t tell you what the cost would be. In order to be sure of the current charges, please contact your local customs office. Keep in mind that we’re not able to reimburse you for duties and taxes paid upon delivery.
- For US customers, CROSTY does not collect sales or use tax in all states. Your purchase may be subject to sales or use tax, unless your state is exempt from taxation. Many states require a sales/use tax return filing at the end of the year for taxable purchases that were not taxed (including internet purchases) and payment of use tax on those purchases.
Foreign Transaction Fees
CROSTY does not charge any additional fees other than the total amount owed for the order. Other fees would have been applied by your bank and are not under the control of CROSTY. As we're based out of United States, banks in other countries may consider us a 'foreign company' and charge additional international fees on their own. We are not able to provide a refund for any foreign transaction fees.
Should you have confirmed that the charge was made on CROSTY's end, please reach out to our customer service team with the details on the charges!
